Composed for two of Cork’s finest percussionists, Tomas Gall and Alex Petcu (Irish Symphony Orchestra Artist in Residence) Moeity explored the relationship between pitched and unpitched percussion. With live electronics and tracks to augment throughout. All lighting, and projections were then mapped to the audio to create a truly immersive experience.

With these compositions i wanted to explore the exciting dynamic between the visceral nature of the drums against the delicate nature of Marimba and tuned percussion. By heavily effecting these instruments with live electronics new unexplored timbres could be created.
