David has a BA Hons in music (2006), Bmus (2007) and an MA in composition (2009), under the guidance of John Godfrey (Crash Ensemble, Icebreaker) and Jesse Roneau from University College Cork. He was one of three selected for the University of California E.A.P Scholarship and has previously received the Ted and Mary O Reagan Bursary for emerging artists, Cork City Council and Arts Council of Ireland Bursaries. He is also the co founder and a director of Eat My Noise, one of the Cork’s most prolific cross platform companies.
David has been commissioned by The Cork International Film festival to write a piece for the Organ of St Finbar’s cathedral, which Eat My Noise will be premiere as part of the 2016 programme, this is made possible through an Arts Council of Ireland commission award.
